RX1E-A electric airplane maiden flight

RX1E-A electric airplane made its maiden flight at Caihu airport in Shenyang City, capital of China’s Liaoning Province, on 1 November 2017. RX1E-A is the new-generation of the electric plane developed by Shenyang Aerospace University. The electric aircraft is powered by six lithium batteries, which provide up to two hours in the air at a maximum flight speed of 160 kilometers per hour. In case of emergency, an integrated parachute provides a safe landing for both pilot and plane.
